Interested in broadening your mathematical knowledge and sharpening your analytical thinking? Join the Colorado Math Circle. For exciting math talks and problem solving sessions hosted by the University of Colorado at Boulder. Speakers will include math professors and mathematicians from around the state. Topics are expected to include number theory, combinatorics, probability, and geometry. Club will meet on Wednesday afternoons at CU-Boulder to practice contest math problems.
Hammond Middle School Math Contest 2014. The contest will be similar in format to the Mathcounts Competitions in that there will be two individual rounds and a team round. The second individual round will consist of 15 free response questions.

Those who have submitted complete applications will be getting decisions by mid April. Those who have submitted the application form but have not yet. Completed the rest may still do so for a few days, but unless extremely strong. They probably wont be considered, except perhaps for the wait list." Monday, March 19, 2007. We decided to research the topic of patterns in the primary classroom for several reasons. We thought that children would enjoy experimenting with patterns using different colors and blocks, that planning for these types of lessons would be enjoyable for us as teachers, and we thought that patterns must be an important topic because it is so common in our everyday lives.
